We slept to the sound of waves, and awoke to the sound of waves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At dawn, as we walked along the silent, isolated beach, it felt like we were in a world of our own, perhaps in an impressionist painting. We were in a different space, protected by the thick blanket of fog that formed the frame of the painting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At sunset, we sat and watched the pelicans, seals, and dolphins grab their catch for dinner, curiously peeking at us every once in a while. We watched the sun set, and the sky turn pink, then purple, as the wildlife, now stuffed and happy, return to their nests for the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo
