From Mojave National Preserve, we drove southeast to Kofa National Wildlife Refuge in Arizona for some warmth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desert life never ceases to delight us. The Saguaro cactus, standing tall, always looks like it’s raising its hands or signalling. Whilst we were on the Palm Canyon trail, we spotted a big horn sheep sunning on a rock. I can spend my entire life watching big horn sheep, fantasizing to be one. That evening, we took a wee walk at sunset and were surrounded by teddy bear chollas as the sun rays shone through them to cast long shadows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
