When the sky was clear and blue, the lake was the bluest lake I’ve ever seen. It’s truly hard to imagine that a volcano erupted here half a billion years ago, causing the this lake to form over time.
In the short span of 4 days at Crater Lake, we experienced blue skies, cloudy days, rain, and heavy fog.
